I’m a senior engineer with twenty-five years of building and scaling systems. My focus is the backend: APIs, databases and distributed systems. I work across the full stack when a project calls for it.
A lot of that time has gone into platform and developer tooling: the infrastructure that helps teams ship faster, and the load tests and profilers that tell you whether it will hold.
Outside the day job I build ProseForge, and I write fiction.
